Catholic Social Teaching has seven main tenets:

  1. Call to Family, Community, and Participation
  2. Care for God’s Creation
  3. Preferential Option for the Poor
  4. Rights and Responsibilities
  5. Solidarity
  6. The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
  7. The Right to Life and the Dignity of the Human Person
